André Sode appointed new CEO of Liva Healthcare

The board of directors of Liva Healthcare has today appointed André Sode as new CEO of the company. André Sode has previously been the CFO and deputy CEO of the company for the past three years.

His appointment follows a wish from Liva’s Co-founder and previous CEO, Kristoffer From, to take leave for a longer period for private reasons. It is his intention to return to the company in another capacity once his leave comes to an end.

– I’m looking forward to continuing Liva Healthcare’s growth trajectory internationally and to strengthen the company’s position as leading European player within scalable and effective digital health coaching, said André Sode.

André Sode has a proven track record in executive positions with Saxo Bank and Telia prior to joining Liva Healthcare in 2016.

Liva Healthcare is an international health tech company based in Copenhagen and London. The company was founded in 2015 by the serial entrepreneurs behind the e-health success NetDoctor.com. The company’s mission is to improve the lives of people at risk of, or living with, chronic conditions such as Type 2 diabetes, obesity and heart diseases by driving positive behaviour change via a combination of technology and physical health coaching.

Liva’s award-winning programme is used by primary healthcare, leading pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies and public and private healthcare organisations such as NHS England and AXA PPP healthcare. Liva is a partner to NHS England on its ambitious NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (NHS DPP).

The company has 40 employees across Europe. Investors include leading German and Danish VCs and one of Europe’s largest family offices.
